Problems and prospects of attracting financial resources of mfis
The article deals with the problems of attracting financial resources of monetary financial institutions (MFIs) to the development of the national economy. It is noted that in the conditions of limited access of business entities to credit resources, in fact the only alternative for domestic enterprises is MFI loans. The study of MFIs performance in Ukraine shows that their lending is one of the best and cheapest sources of financing investment projects. The problems and perspectives of Ukraine's cooperation with the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, etc. are analyzed. It is concluded that the following priorities, such as scientific cooperation for the development of scientific and technological progress, should be taken into account in the further implementation of joint projects. MFI-funded projects should be oriented towards ensuring the advancement of Ukrainian technologies and science-intensive goods to European markets, increasing the level of commercialization of domestic technologies and the production in Ukraine of competitive high-tech products for export on their basis, etc. It is also advisable to direct MFI funds towards projects that contribute to the development of export operations and import substitution.
