Ensuring the effectiveness of projects implementation in Ukraine using international financial institutions resources

The article analyzes current trends in attracting resources to Ukraine in the field of international financial cooperation. As part of the study, the authors examine the areas of cooperation between Ukraine and international financial institutions (IFIs) that will help to realize the potential of the Ukrainian economy: budget support, macrofinance assistance, technical assistance, etc. The authors analyze some aspects of concluding international financial agreements on budgetary support, which reflect the following five key development objectives: improving public finance management; achieving macroeconomic stability and economic growth; combating corruption and fraud; promoting reforms and improving the provision of services in various sectors; protection of human rights and democratic values; improving the system of attracting domestic financial resources, and reducing dependence on external assistance. Particular attention is focused on the need to improve IFIs-Ukraine cooperation by continuing reforms in key areas, strengthening measures to manage public finances, improving planning, attracting, using, monitoring and controlling the IFIs fund use to improve the effectiveness of program implementation.
